Transmission Lines

 

 

 

 

East Coast Piling and Drilling designed and constructed the first two electrical transmission lines ever to use Screw Piles, for Powerlink in Queensland at Millmerran and Belmont.

Each tower leg utilised four Screw Piles specifically raked to resist the design loads.

Templates were prefabricated at the nominated raking angles to ensure accurate quality control during installation.
